Sugar is the Biggest Cause of Low-Grade Inflammation

 

People consume an exorbitant amount of carbohydrates on a daily basis. Most of these carbohydrates are in the form of starch that turns into refined sugar. Excessive consumption of refined carbs and sugar, such as white breads, rice, pasta, cereals, potatoes, soft drinks, cakes, candies, chips, crackers and other processed foods can lead to obesity, type II diabetes and cancer because these carbs are low in fibre & nutritional value and are digested quickly thereby causing major swings in the blood sugar levels.
